1. About us

This website is operated by TempsMaison Inc., a Delaware corporation registered under number 10555772, with its registered office at 1207 Delaware Avenue, Suite 3708, Wilmington, DE, USA ("TempsMaison", "we", "us"). You can contact us at info@tempsmaison.com.

These Terms govern your use of the TempsMaison website and portal, and any purchase of a timepiece through TempsMaison. By creating an account or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Wholesale partners who supply timepieces to TempsMaison are also bound by the separate Partner Terms & Conditions, which they read in full and accept during registration. Where those terms conflict with these Terms, the Partner Terms & Conditions prevail for partner activity.

2. Accounts

Clients and partners register through the same form. Every new account starts with your name, surname, email address, phone number and a password, and you must verify your email address with a one-time code.

Clients then provide a correspondence address and a delivery address and accept these Terms. TempsMaison reviews the registration before granting access to the collection.

Partners are reviewed by TempsMaison first. Once a partner application is approved, the partner provides company details and banking details and accepts the Partner Terms & Conditions before gaining access to the partner portal.

We may approve or decline any application at our discretion, without being obliged to give a reason. If we decline an application, we may include a short explanation in our email to you.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete and current information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at info@tempsmaison.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

We may change your account from a client account to a partner account, or the reverse, where appropriate. If we do, your access is paused until you have provided the details required for the new account type.

We may suspend, disable or close an account if we reasonably believe it has been used in breach of these Terms, for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, or where we are required to do so by law or by our compliance obligations. If a client account is disabled, any reservations it holds are released.

3. The collection and pricing

Timepieces shown in the portal are offered subject to availability. Many pieces are unique, pre-owned or held by our partners, and availability can change without notice. Every piece is reviewed by TempsMaison before it is offered.

Each listing describes the piece's brand, reference, production year and condition grade (Unworn, Excellent, Good or Fair). It also states what is included with the watch (full set, original box only, papers or cards only, or watch only) and which quality checks the piece has passed. Photographs are of the actual piece, but minor variations in appearance may occur.

To protect each piece, full serial numbers are shown only to the client holding a reservation on that piece.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and/or US dollars (USD) and are exclusive of VAT and other sales taxes. Where a piece is sourced in another currency, the GBP and USD prices are based on an exchange rate at the time of listing and are confirmed in your purchase documentation. Shipping, insurance, import duties and local taxes are charged separately and confirmed before you commit to a purchase.

We may correct errors in descriptions or prices at any time before a purchase is confirmed. If a correction affects a piece you have reserved, the updated details will be shown in your account, and we will contact you before proceeding with the sale.

4. Reservations and purchases

Reserving a piece through the portal is an expression of interest. It holds the piece for you for 10 days, but it is not a binding contract for either party.

We will remind you by email before a reservation expires. If a reservation is not progressed within 10 days, it expires automatically and the piece becomes available to other clients. We may extend a reservation at our discretion.

A binding contract is formed only when we confirm the sale to you in writing and issue a purchase order or invoice. Until then, we may decline or cancel a reservation, for example where the piece is no longer available, where verification or compliance checks are not completed, or where a pricing error has occurred.

We may need to verify your identity and the source of funds before completing a sale. This is particularly likely for high-value transactions, and we will tell you what we need.

5. Payment

Payment terms, accepted methods and deadlines will be set out in your purchase order or invoice. We do not accept cash payments. Ownership of a timepiece passes to you only once we have received payment in full.

6. Delivery and risk

We arrange fully insured delivery to the delivery address on your account, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Delivery timescales are estimates. You can update your delivery address from your account page.

Risk in the timepiece passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your piece on arrival and tell us of any damage or discrepancy within 48 hours.

You are responsible for any import duties, taxes or clearance charges in your country unless your invoice states otherwise.

7. Authenticity and condition

Every timepiece sold through TempsMaison is multi-inspected and verified before dispatch.

Quality checks shown on a listing (dial, movement and timing, crystal, and strap condition) describe the checks the piece has passed at the time of listing.

Unless expressly stated, pre-owned timepieces do not carry a manufacturer's warranty. Where a TempsMaison warranty applies, its terms will be set out in your purchase documentation.

If a timepiece we sell to you is found not to be authentic, we will refund the full purchase price or replace on its return in the condition supplied as part of our authenticity guarantee. We want our clients to have total piece of mind in the items they are purchasing. This is in addition to any rights you have by law.

8. Independence from manufacturers

TempsMaison is an independent dealer. We are not an authorised dealer of, and are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by, any watch manufacturer whose products appear on this website, unless expressly stated.

Brand names, model names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products offered.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, design, logos and photography created by or for TempsMaison, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and print it for personal use. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute it without our prior written consent.

Partners grant TempsMaison the right to use the photographs and descriptions they upload to market and sell the pieces concerned, as set out in the Partner Terms & Conditions.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, other accounts or our systems;
• scrape, copy or extract data from the portal, including prices, listings or photographs;
• share your account access with others;
• interfere with the website's operation, including by submitting automated or repeated enquiries.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or opportunity. Our total liability in connection with any purchase is limited to the price paid for the timepiece concerned.

We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you confirm a purchase applies to that purchase. We will notify account holders of material changes.
